Faith

When one door closes, another opens. How timely... as if it was all planned out already.

Life is so strange, so intricate, so enigmatic. A sequence of things happened when a certain phase in my life started. When this phase finally ended, the same sequence of things happened again. It is as if a higher being has foreseen the whole episode, and decided to give it a proper start and a proper closure.

Sometimes you feel that some higher being is watching your life, and planting in opportunities and traps to see how would u react.

Maybe this higher being decides to be sadistic one day and put more obstacles ahead of you when you are already down. Or maybe this higher being decides to be nice, and sends down a shoulder for you to cry on when you need it the most.

Nonetheless, one must always believe in the power of faith. The only constant is change, and one would not stay in the bottom of the pit forever.

"Everything will be fine in the end. If it is not fine, it is not the end." - unknown

I like this quote a lot. Because it stimulates hope and faith of a better tomorrow. To question what is the end would be too cynical. I guess what we can learn from this quote is that, every tear or moodwing will somehow be compensated by various forms of happiness. It is not a matter of will it really happen or not, rather, it is whether you believe or not.

Faith is so important to life. It may not necessary be religious faith, but just simply a belief in a better tomorrow. It nourishes the soul, fuels optimism, and generates an inner tranquility and balance.

To me, faith has always tided me through the darkest of storms. There are times which I've lost it, yet thankfully, certain suprises in life will always remind me of its presence.

It does not always just dawn on you. Things can happen in your life but you need to draw the link yourself. Sometimes, it takes a little bit of mental exploration. But all the efforts are worthwhile.

Whatever it is, just keep believing.

Sir Winston Churchill once said, "Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb."

Cheers! :D
